Just released in time for Valentine's Day! "Lace, Leather & Love, on Cape Cod" is written by Sedona Summer. This is the fourth book in Summer's journey. The first book was "Free Your Soul," The second was "On the Rosy Path." The third book was a children's book titled: Spunky Sherry Sprite, the girl that loved to dance. And soon to be released will be "Lace, Leather & Love, on Cape Cod." This story is from a chapter, titled "The love of my life" from the first book - "Free Your Soul." In "Lace, Leather & Love, on Cape Cod" Sedona Summer creates two characters, Cheri Garnier and Marco Steel. The story is based on real life but is carefully crafted to enhance the story, perhaps just a little bit. Preface It was Saturday, September 20, 1997 Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The effect of their blind date The wild inside of him excited the wild in her. ~~~~~ He, at first glance, saw she was special in an unusual way. She was sweet, yet sassy. She was a brunette, with hair several inches below her shoulders. Bangs and layers of soft curls outlined her serenely expressed face. She had gentle, blue eyes and a small, rounded nose dotted with freckles. Her domineer was that of at least a five-foot-five woman but she only stood five-foot-two. Her body was slender and had defined, little muscles in both her arms and legs. ~~~~~ She liked the figure of the man that appeared at the top of those stairs. The first thing she saw was his warn brown, leather, cowboy boots, and as he descended she could see slender, sexy legs in tight fitting jeans. Her eyes traveled up to his belt buckle. It was a buckle that shined of brass and silver with a large, black eagle in the center. With each step downwards, more of him came into view. His arms and chest were covered in a snug fitting, gray and white pinstripe shirt with ivory, snap buttons. His black, leather vest, layered over the shirt was left opened. A ponytail fell onto one side of his neck and rested on his shoulder. She could easily imagine it falling freely around his strong face, and she found that tantalizing. When she looked into his twinkling brown eyes, both dark and powerful, she braced herself…she knew at once, he could easily steal her heart. ~~~~~ He couldn't help his full and tenderhearted smile when his eyes met hers. She was indeed as cute as his friend had said. She was a bit shy, too, and he liked that. As the evening continued, he could tell she had a good sense of what she was … a woman that knew her own mind. She was also the sanest woman he’d ever met, that was incredibly reassuring and refreshing. As he considered a future with Cheri, he relaxed knowing he could be comfortable and at peace with her. He also believed she would offer a relationship that would be delightful and enthralling because of her sweet and energetic nature. ~~~~~ She saw at once that he was both manly and easy going, a combination that was sure to please her in many ways. Even the light touch of his fingers on her silver bracelet sent a tingle throughout her body… she sighed and struggled to remain calm. ~~~~~ He could tell she was into him, just by the way she tilted her head, and her words could be easily translated in a seductive way. She smiled a lot and was very much at ease with herself, him, and their conversation. ~~~~~ Even though she felt a strong attraction to him, she chose to move ahead cautiously. She sensed that he was a hard worker and admired by his friends, however, at the end of the evening a deep secret was revealed. ~~~~~ Could the two of them, in spite of concerns, be that beautiful pair she envisioned?
